Mixing, step by step

  1. Let the vial sit out until it is room temperature. Wipe the rubber top with alcohol.
  2. Draw the amount of bac water from the chart into a syringe.
  3. Aim the water at the glass wall, not straight at the powder. Let it run down.
  4. Swirl gently until the liquid is clear. Never shake it.
  5. Write the date on the vial and put it in the fridge.

What about acetic acid?

A few peptides do not fully dissolve in bac water. For those, research labs use a weak acetic acid solution instead.

  • Almost everything on this site mixes fine with bac water. Try that first.
  • The usual strength is 0.6% acetic acid, which is very weak. Some labs go up to 2%.
  • Use it when the powder stays cloudy, clumpy, or will not clear after gentle swirling.
  • KPV is the most common one that needs it. Some GHK-Cu and blend vials do too.
  • Never use household vinegar or table vinegar. Use lab-grade acetic acid made for reconstitution.
  • Acid-mixed vials can sting a little more. Refrigerate them the same way.
  1. Mix the vial with bac water first, using the amount in the chart.
  2. Swirl gently for a minute. Most powders clear up on their own.
  3. If it is still cloudy, start over with the same amount of 0.6% acetic acid instead of water.
  4. If it clears but you still see specks, throw the vial out.

Things people get wrong

  • More water does not make a stronger dose. It only spreads the same amount out.
  • Use bac water, not plain sterile water. Plain water has no preservative and the vial spoils.
  • Cloudy liquid or floating bits means throw it out.
  • Reaching for acetic acid before trying bac water. Water first, acid only if needed.
  • Most mixed vials are good for about 4 weeks in the fridge.
